In a world where superpowered people are heavily policed by robots, an ex-con teams up with a drug lord he despises to protect a teen from a corrupt cop.
Synopsis:
Five years after the events of Code 8, the LCPD reformed its militarized technology program, replacing armed humanoid robots with non-lethal, dog-like K9 robots. Connor works as a caretaker at a youth center run by Mina. Connor asks Garrett for help in negotiating a peace deal, which includes erasing Pav’s memory of his brother Tarak. But when Connor realizes that the mind eraser is erasing all of his memories of Tarak, he fights to free her. A lone K9 goes after them and after a failed electrical attack from Connor, Pav unleashes all his power and manages to turn him around. against the police.Garrett holds off a K9 and King himself until Pav finally manages to transfer footage from King’s personal K9, bringing justice for the death of Pav’s brother. Three months later, King is arrested and the K9 program is put on hold for further review. Garrett is in prison and Connor, along with Pav, managed to open the youth community center in Minas’ honor.
