Megamind vs. the Doom Syndicate

Two days after the events of the first film, Megamind now takes on the role of defender of Metro City. Together with Ol’ Chum (formerly Minion), he stops a criminal trio called the Go-Fish Gang from stealing a priceless fish. For his heroic efforts, Megamind is given the key to the city. Chum, feeling left out and undervalued in his efforts, tells Megamind that he wants to be his partner. After his rejection, Chum explains that he will look for other opportunities that Megamind offers him.The Doom Syndicate, a team of supervillains that Megamind was once a part of, escapes from prison to visit him because they think he is still a villain and that his role as a hero is part of an evil plan. They go on a crime spree and eventually challenge Megamind to prove he’s still evil by robbing a bank. Megamind struggles with this, but gets help from Keiko Morita, his self-proclaimed biggest fan, who helps him stage a fake heist. Meanwhile, Chum has started working in a run-down restaurant.
Megamind deceives his former team and reveals an abandoned evil plan to take Metro City to the moon using rockets placed underground.The Doom Syndicate prepares to launch them, but Megamind stops them. They realize he is up to something and vow to create or destroy Metro City themselves. Realizing that he cannot defeat the Syndicate alone, Megamind finds Chum in his converted restaurant and tries to ask him for help. However, when Megamind realizes that he may belong more to the store than to it, he regrets letting Chum go.
Megamind is overwhelmed by the Doom Syndicate after learning of his cover.He hides in an alley and feels defeated, but is confronted by Roxanne and Keiko, who remind him that it’s okay to ask others for help. Chum also returns when Megamind tells him that he is really his partner. Megamind, Chum, Roxanne and Keiko join forces to confront the Doom Syndicate, but are unable to stop the launch. They manage to return Metro City safely to Earth. Roxanne is elected Metro City’s new mayor, while Keiko launches a revamped Hero Signal and Megamind finds fulfillment in his new
team.In a mid-credits scene, the Doom Syndicate are once again locked in prison when they receive a visit from Megamind’s former mentor, Machiavillain.
