After Shrek and Fiona return from their honeymoon, they find an invitation to a royal ball with Fiona’s parents to celebrate their wedding, an event which Shrek is reluctant to attend. Shrek worries that he has lost his true love, especially after finding the diary. since she was a teenager and read that she was once in love with Prince Charming. The three sneak into the Fairy Godmother’s potion factory and steal a “Happily Ever After” potion, which Shrek steals. The Fairy Godmother gives Harold a
love potion to put in Fiona’s tea, causing her to fall in love with the first person she kisses. Shrek and Donkey drink the potion, but when it starts to rain, they don’t notice that a mushroom that Shrek sneezed the potion on turns into a beautiful rose.The potion also transformed Fiona back into her former human self. The trio are arrested by royal guards and thrown into a dungeon, a parody of COPS. The Fairy Godmother attempts to attack Shrek and Fiona with a spell from her wand, but it bounces off Harold’s armor as he sacrifices himself to save them. Shrek. Shrek forgives him and Lillian tells Harold that she still loves him no matter what happens. The post-credits scene shows Shrek, Fiona and Donkey still partying at night.Dragon Dragon, whom Donkey married after the events of the first film, arrives with Donkey’s new children named Dronkeys.
