Review:
“The Backup Plan” is a classic romantic comedy. I like most romantic comedies so it worked for me.
I think it was a good choice for Jennifer Lopez. With such a beautiful female character, I would rather see her as a romantic lead, unlike most Hollywood actresses who play such roles these days. Alex O’Loughlin is relatively new; I found him very handsome and charming.Although this film offers almost nothing new, they at least tried to give the characters careers that didn’t exist in all the other films, especially for O’Loughlin’s character. I appreciated it. They also added a group of single mothers, the star actresses gave their best and gave me something to remember the film by.
The jokes are mostly tried and tested. You may not laugh much, but if you like the romance of romantic comedies, you’ll probably enjoy The Backup Plan.
